State West Virginia Kingwood is a town/city in and the governmental center of county of Preston County, West Virginia, United States, and is part of the Pittsburgh DMA.

Kingwood includes three enhance schools serviced by the Preston County School District, including Kingwood Elementary, Central Preston Middle School and Preston High School.
